Who Handles Your Data

Phoebe ("the service") is operated by an individual in a personal capacity. This policy explains what information the service collects, why, and what is done with it. Questions can be sent to the operator (see Contact below).

What We Collect

Identity from your Telegram login (Telegram ID, username, display name, profile photo). A phone number, only if you choose to share it through the bot. A WhatsApp number, only if you connect WhatsApp for notifications. The search criteria you enter (areas, budget, rooms, dates, features). Your in-app activity, such as listings you view, mark, or snooze. Basic usage and device analytics. The service also aggregates publicly posted apartment listings from Facebook groups — this is content people posted publicly, not personal information about you.

Why We Use It

To find and match apartment listings to your criteria, remove duplicates, and alert you to new posts; to deliver those notifications over Telegram or WhatsApp; to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service. The service does not use your data to build advertising profiles.

Who We Share It With

Your information is never sold. It is shared only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service, each acting as a processor: Telegram (sign-in and message delivery), WhatsApp / Meta (message delivery, if you connect it), PostHog (product analytics), and our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon). Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

Cookies & Analytics

A session cookie keeps you signed in. Analytics tools record anonymous-leaning usage events (pages viewed, features used) to understand how the service is used and where it breaks. No third-party advertising trackers are used.

How Long We Keep It

Account and profile data are kept while your account is active. Aggregated listing data is retained as long as it is useful for the service. You can ask for your account and personal data to be deleted at any time, and the operator will do so within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Your Choices

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or turn off notifications at any time by contacting the operator or adjusting your settings in the app. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.

Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect your information, including encrypted transport and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and no absolute guarantee can be made.

Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
